Launch Complex 29 was built in support of Polaris missile testing. The blockhouse has been converted for office space, and the original launch pad still exists. The site has been slated, along with adjacent Launch Complex 25, for refurbishment into a new missile test facility. Specifics of the new launch site and the vehicle testing it will support has still to be released.
